Only Child by Rhiannon Navin

Out today!!

Only Child    by Rhiannon Navin

WOW what an absolutely stunning 5 Star read from cover to cover. A very emotional tale of an elementary school shooting and the total devastation caused by such a terrible event. The total heartbreak for a family trying to recover from such events and the trauma caused to a child who managed to survive. Told from the young survivors point of view it will tug at your heartstrings. Absolutely recommend.

The One – John Marrs

So I’ve not posted in a while… I’ve been lucky enough to have been reading some ARCs that I’m not allowed to write about until nearer their release date, so I thought i’d mention an absolutely  brilliant book that I recommend to ANYONE!

The One by John Marrs

If you could take a simple DNA test that matched you with your one true love would you take it? That’s what the characters in this book can do and if their match has registered too, meet them and fall in unconditional lover forever..  Sounds perfect hey? Why wouldn’t you!

The result are in, the matches made but not all of them are matches made in heaven……

This is a great book full of excellent characters you wont want this read to end and you’ll be recommending to everyone you know!
Absolutely  5* from me……

My favourite Author

Amanda Prowse is my favourite author, she cant put a foot wrong as far I’m concerned.

My 2 absolute favourites are My Husbands Wife and The Food of love.

The Food of Love.

This is a truly stunning book from the view point of a mother raising a teenage daughter. Yet another truly gripping read, jam packed with emotion.

My husband’s wife

This book is also a real page turner, and left me wanting more at the end I really did not want it to finish an absolute cracker of a read.

Her Another love series is totally brilliant, you can read them all as stand alone books but I would recommend devouring them in order.

Day 1

So today is day one of both this blog and of my book reviewing.

Today I reviewed Mark Edwards “The Lucky Ones” which I was lucky enough to have received and advanced copy of.   Being dyslexic and having ADHD, writing is NOT my forte! However I LOVE to read, I get through about 4 books a week and its expensive, hence signing up to be a reviewer, I get a free book, they get a review – perfect

oh and I got my first badge from Netgalley 🙂Professional Reader

My review:

The Lucky Ones

Mark Edwards
The Lucky Ones

A brilliant and complex story, which kept me guessing all the way through.

I was a “lucky One” and would like to thank Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it started off quickly -straight into the story, keeping me turning the pages and trying to guess the outcome right from the start.
The characters are likable which always helps me when reading a story; I find you need to care enough about them to hold interest in what is going to happen.
There is enough Crime procedural and thriller mixed together to make a great story from different perspectives.

It is easy to read but yet a complex and clever story, certainly grabbing my interest early on and holding it until the end.

Another great read from Mark Edwards.
